Talked to the Solicitor today (19th Febuary) and basically six weeks after our letter we still have received no reply from RTE. (they must be delaying the post, like they are doing the fiddly with the email). So RTE can expect a writ to arrive some time next week. That’s of course unless they decide to name the people who told them to put the stuff out and I will sue them instead.  So if these people’s names should happen to get to me totally by accident of course, RTE might spare themselves a few bob.

By the way there’s no chance of any apology to Mary Hanfin, not after the absolute hell I been through the last few months.

I guess at this stage people are begining to wonder what has been happening the last few months. I hardly know where to start myself. I better not give a life story or I will never be finished.

The trouble really started after Ireland voted No to the Lisbon treaty, I used to make comments on a number of the blogs and batted for the No side during the Lisbon referendum.

I believed the campaign was been ran unfairly ( very slanted towards the Yes side and basically ignored the No’s). I am somewhat of a eurosceptic I thought the Lisbon treaty was too good a deal for the larger countries and a really crap deal for the smaller one’s. The bigger states could and probably would take advantage of the smaller states, there is nothing in the treaty there to stop them. lt wasn’t the result they wanted apparently.

I began to feel there was trouble coming, a lot of helicopters and planes began to start circling my place, I get a fair amount of them considering my background and politics but this was more than usual. The next thing I heard put out was the state had some reason why they had to “Re-run Lisbon “.

I knew I was in trouble then, they had cooked something up and thrown away the rulebook as well.

Then it began, with a broadcast on 2fm saying ” 2012 ” was “” Sinn Fein ? “” went on about pipes and snuff and the ” smell “etc… The following weeks they put out more stuff most of it ” Bondage ” related, other tv/radio stations also joined in, on and on it went.

Then on Monday August 11th, 3 helicopters flew over my place.  It was on, I hurried inside and started printing off my details. This was done with great difficulty as basically someone was trying to stop me. I also had the feeling that someone else was helping me and they were the stronger.

Also my plastic cards wouldn’t work for about a week to ten days afterwards.

The reason why they had to re-run Lisbon disappeared and all the threats over the airwaves started. They obviously realised that they were sitting on a scandal and wanted me to ” shut up ” or act guilty more or less.

In October they started putting out stuff that the ” snuff ” was on the 3G and then I decided I was going to fight back. When people are threating to kill you what have you got to lose. I demanded that they stand up all the innunedo they put out and this they refused to do.

They came at me again at Christmas, then in January I was being Nazified and hung around schools !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am amazed that I am still alive, I didn’t know that Sarkozy pushed them into it, if I had I known I would probably have stopped if they did the same which they didn’t. It was their idea anyway (target me & all the sex stuff).

The whole idea was to ” frame ” me as a paedophile , change my financial details (some big banker told them it was easy to do) and say I downloaded child porn ( I believe they got the idea from the new arrival in our family in July, its the worse stuff to tar someone with as well), they would have held a referendum re-run and probably won.

In the last few days it was obvious that the people in the media who were ” putting out ” were being blackmailed by the special branch to do so (most of them anyway).

Just noticed this evening, rather odd reporting on TV 3 news and on six one the previous evening, the reporters on tv 3 were making comments that really didn’t fit in with their reports like ahem ” Black hole in the finances of the country ” and there was numerous others. In fairness one reporter was nearly in tears, obviously being made to put out stuff she didn’t want to. As for the guy on RTE, ooh dear the less said the better. At this stage I get the feeling that they are going to come at me again, they are slowly working towards it. The build up has started, I wonder what they are coming up with this time, I don’t think they can use the illegal download stuff this time, so what is it ? Everyone knows they tried to stick child porn on the visa at christmas so I don’t think anyone will believe it now. This government is getting desperate and looks little more than collection of thugs with all the threats they are making. I wonder how all of this will end ? Make a great book this, will it make it into history you never know.

This is another topic of interest of mine, there has been much said about the topic of illegal downloads in the past few months but believe it or not the law on the subject is far from clear. The only categories which are well defined are child pornography (Child Trafficking And Pornography Act, 1998) and Incitement to Hatred (Prohibition Of Incitement To Hatred Act, 1989).     I actually rang a few agencies and the Department of Justice today to gain further clarification and was eventually put through to the Internet safety office and basically given the answer that wasn’t a list of  specifically banned ” items ” but operated on the principle that if it’s illegal offline it certainly isn’t legal online.

That really cleared the matter up for me (ha-ha-ha).

Well I rang the Irish film censor office and was directed towards their website  www.ifco.ie were i got the following

The Act, which runs to nearly seventy pages, provides among its detailed provisions that the Director of Film Classification shall certify a video work as fit for viewing, unless:

• it would be likely to cause persons to commit a crime
• it would be likely to stir up hatred against a group of persons on account of their race, colour, nationality, religion, ethnic or national origins, membership of the travelling community or sexual orientation
• it would tend to deprave or corrupt because it is obscene or indecent
• it depicts acts of gross violence or cruelty (including mutilation and torture) towards humans or animals

It also provides for the issuing of Wholesale and Retail Video Licenses and it sets out a range of relevant offences and penalties.

So all you have to do is define “obscene” and “indecent”, answers on a postcard please.

Just decided to write on the goings on of the last few months. It’s been quite a experience, I wouldn’t describe it as a rollercoaster there wasn’t many ups more like a train entering those dark tunnels. I believe I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel somehow (could be wrong, very wrong). Took quite a ” battering ” from the establishment, all started in July a radio broadcast saying  that “2012″  was whatever and that I downloaded “snuff ” (untrue) movies from the internet and that I smell (saying that I didn’t wash- also untrue). On and on it went, demonised without anyout questions from the media , death threats etc …  Thought it was nearly over but they couldn’t let me go. Despite all I did for some people, they of course didn’t say a word in my defence but just wanted to use someone like all the rest. It’s been a long fight and generally all I seem to lack according to the spin put out by the media is two horns and a tail. Maybe they should work on that too. I have really learned alot from this but the one thing I can’t get over is the way they blame me for everything, these guys at the top don’t take much responsibilty and really is their fault. They had to try and pull a fast one if they didn’t this mess wouldn’t have happened.

The unemployment rate continues to rise, there is now 327,000 people out of work in the country and the figure is expected to rise  to 400,000 by the end of the year. What actions are we (the people) expecting the Government to take to alleviate the crisis ? Generally I think the Government are panicking and steering the country into a steep reccession. I would take a gamble (that’s me !) that the outlook will be better in 2010 and borrow what the negative balance is for this year and review the situation at the year’s end. We need to get the revenues growing again and what I suggest is that

• Bring back the scrap-age scheme for cars eight years or more (they are doing this in Germany ).
• Reintroduce the first time buyer’s grant for a limited period say a grant of €10,000- € 15,000 just to get people buying again.
• Tax Shell, no reason not to do this.
• Use the remainder of the pension fund to build motorways, improve public transport, build extra hospitals not subside private ones.
• Encourage people to start their own business/enterprises.

That’s a few of my idea’s, maybe they might not be many ” Irish beggars ” on foreign streets if we tried to help ourselves.

I see that Ryanair has cut its services at Shannon, just about two weeks after their ridiculous offer for Aer Lingus was thrown out. Fancy this they put in a offer for a company with at least €760 m in the bank (  +42 planes and buildings worth another €916m according to the Sunday Business Post) and landing/take-off slots at Heathrow airport ( which are nearly impossible to get) of €748 m !!! I mean Micheal O’ Leary wanted a bargain there, less than half price !! I am not a fan of Aer lingus but Ryanair wanted the “Sale of the century”  just to suit them. Good thing it didn’t happen.
